The unscheduled powercuts @my area in Bangalore are annoying me totally these days .Today there was no power from 6:30-9:30 pm and all I did was catch up on sms’es and phone calls. What else can i do to kill time?Any ideas ? Are you facing power problems in your area too?
Blame it on the energy crisis or our dependence on electricity ,I dunno. All i know is it is extremely irritating and makes me sit idle for hours! I wrote this post when there was power and before could hit the “Save” button,All lights out 
God,Hear my prayers and gift me an UPS
Exams in a month so I think its time to get those candles and the emergency lights out !
PS:I held a guitar for the first time today (only strummed it very naively) and i loved the feeling,God,please grant me another wish !
Thats too bad. Though I voted the first option, unless its exam time or deadline for some computer related work, I am not much bothered by power cut. Moreover we have very less power cut in our state.
My vote goes for option number 3

I strummed a guitar once too….Rishabh’s….during the cultural show rehearsals…..still prefer my good old keyboard though
….
We dont have power cuts at Ahmedabad… but in-case we do have there are a lot of things we do at home…viz. play board games in candle light, play antakshari, tell each other stories or simple sit in the balcony and talk to each other!! With no TV or computer to distract, best time is spent with family.

if your modem doesn’t work without power, and you can’t live without net..
Try this:
Activate GPRS connection of your cellphone, link it to your laptop and blog about how you are blogging when there is no power
We do have powercuts in Navi Mumbai !! and I hate that ..
And it always occurs at the time when I am going for a shower . so thanda pani se nahana padta hai which I loathe completely !!
Same problem here. But I have no backup for my room. So, I shut the door and watch movies on the lappie
ha well i have a biiiiiiiggg UPS so no props when the power goes
Of course in chennai 2 hours(minimum) power cut every day in other cities of tamil nadu it’s much worse

I hate them here it is 6 t0 8 morning ..thats the time i sleep peacefully but due to the power cuts i could not

Power cuts annoy me to to the core…have to think of ways to spend time with candlelight…Cellphone is a nice option..

Powercuts are really annoying. First, it goes in the morning when I’m getting ready for the college. And when I come back, again it’s gone. I think it goes from 12 to 6 nowadays and it’s horrible. Even though it’s winter and I have a laptop.

and for me … something wrong with the laptop batter, it lasts only 15 minutes without power now
