Hi Priya. I was trying to find your email ID – I had a question for you. I saw your comment on Navarathri Golu blog. You said in your culture you term this as “pattu gombai”. What language/part of India is this? Does this word have English translation? I am interested as like to keep in my blog all terms for Golu with translation if possible. Thanks. pattu gombai properly termed “pattada bombe” is a kannada word ..it is a pair of dolls given to girls during marriage and looks thus
